Fees and payments

Last updated October 8, 2026

What does a stay cost the guest?

The guest pays the host’s nightly price for their CLIQ, multiplied by the nights they book, plus a 3% processing fee that covers card processing. There is no other service fee. The one other addition is a state fee where the law requires it: homes in Georgia add the Georgia State Hotel-Motel Fee, shown as its own line.

Prices can differ between Family, Friends and Acquaintances, and from night to night, because the host sets them per circle on the calendar. The total is shown before a request is sent.

What does CLIQ.RENT charge the host?

Listing a home is free. When a guest pays, CLIQ.RENT keeps 10% of the payment and the host receives the rest. Card processing is included in that 10%.

Host receives$900

What is the Georgia State Hotel-Motel Fee?

Georgia charges $5 per night on short stays. For a home in Georgia, stays of 30 nights or fewer add $5 × the number of nights, shown as “Georgia State Hotel-Motel Fee” before the guest pays. Stays of 31 nights or more don’t pay it, and homes in other states don’t either.

CLIQ.RENT collects this fee and sends it to the state. It does not come out of the host’s share and is not part of the 10%: on the stay below the host still receives $180. If nights are refunded, the fee for those nights is refunded too.

Guest pays$210

How do Founding Hosts credits change that?

Credits come off CLIQ.RENT’s fee, never off what the guest pays. With $100 of credit, the fee on that $1,000 stay is $0 and the host receives the full $1,000. Credits earned through December 31, 2026 can be used through December 31, 2027 and have no cash value.

How and when is the host paid?

Payments go through Stripe. Before a first booking can be paid, the host connects a bank account with Stripe (Profile → Get paid), which includes Stripe’s identity check. Stripe then pays out to that account on its standard schedule, usually within a few business days of the guest paying.

What about deposits, cleaning and taxes?

CLIQ.RENT collects the nightly total, plus the Georgia State Hotel-Motel Fee on Georgia homes. If a host wants a security deposit or a cleaning charge, agree it with the guest in writing in Messages before the stay. Apart from that state fee, hosts are responsible for any occupancy or rental taxes and for reporting rental income.

What if plans change?

Refunds follow the cancellation policy shown on the home. See Booking and cancellation.
