Using your invitation

Last updated October 6, 2026

How do I see a home I was invited to?

Open the invitation link, then sign in or create an account with the same email address the host invited. The homes shared with you appear as soon as you are signed in. No link handy? Go to cliq.rent/invited and enter that email.

I signed in but I don’t see the home.

Almost always, the account uses a different email from the one the host invited. Check which address the invitation was sent to. If you signed in with Apple and chose “Hide My Email”, your account uses an Apple relay address: ask the host to invite that address, or sign in with your regular email instead.

The home may also be switched off for your circle right now, or the host may have changed which circle you are in. Message the host if you are unsure.

Can I forward my invitation to someone else?

A forwarded link does not give anyone else access. Each invitation works only for the email address the host invited. Ask the host to invite the other person directly.

I don’t have an invitation.

Homes on CLIQ.RENT are never public, so there is nothing to browse without one. Ask the host to add the email address you want to use to one of their CLIQs. If you own a home, you can list it and invite your own circles.

What does the host see about me?

Once you join, the host who invited you sees your profile, and you see theirs. Nobody else can find you. You can update your profile and preferences any time from Profile.

The Terms of Service are the binding version of these rules. Questions: hello@cliq.rent.
